Water is king, these words have been spoken for all the ages to hear.  In the future these words will become even more pronounced and filled with meaning.  You can go without food for a week or so, but try going without water for a day or so in 105 degree heat. The animals know this and live by it. The well and cistern on the SSR provide this necessary commodity for both the animals and the people that use it. Without it this would just be another hot dusty piece of West Texas land.

" I would rather have 30 acres of land with water, than 300 acres without water "

The scenes shown below in this set of pictures have changed. Due to the neighboring land owner with whom we had a legal contract to half the water produced by the well in the photos. His decision to revoke and pump the water from the well into a new pond and cut off our supply of water, was not only illegal through a legal contract, but was also a demonstration of the lack of MORAL obligation to his fellow man. This ranch owner whom will remain anonymous since I do not want the exact location of the ranch published.

Windmill next to cistern. Located on the THIEF's Property

Water Trough

Pond is now dryed up. Since land owner STOLE the water

Pond created by leak in main cistern. Which is now dry because land owner is a THIEF!

Another view of the THIEFS windmill

Water going into cistern tank. That is now dry due to a THIEF.

Harley's Pond now dried up. The THIEF caused this

So a new page in the history and story of the SINGLE STACK RANCH has begun. Instead of spending money on Low Life Bottom Feeding Attorneys (Like the neighboring ranch owner did)  Our decision was to drill and develop our own source of water.  That cannot be stolen from us. Unfortunately for us this is easier said than done.  Both massive amounts of time, patience, money and frustration were required to accomplish this task
